PROJECT GUIDELINES:

The AppStori community is made of mobile enthusiasts who are delighted by the apps, the benefits, and the connection they establish with the entrepreneurs and teams that bring their ideas to life. In order to promote this, we have a few guidelines in order to qualify to be listed:

The project must be mobile dependent. For example it can be the extension of a web app to a mobile app, but the funded project must be targeted for a mobile platform or device.
Please note that AppStori will deduct 7% of the total collected funds, and Amazon Payments will deduct ~ 2 -3% for the credit card processing. This will be deducted only if your goal is met or exceeded (we succeed only when you do). Please make sure to figure this into the total amount your are looking to raise.
In order to participate and receive funds you must fulfill the requirements of an Amazon Payments Sellers Account. This means that you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age,
- Have a social security number (or EIN),
- Have a US bank account,
- Be a US resident,
- Have a US state-issued ID, and
- Have a major US credit or debit card.

The project must be defined and communicated via your AppStori (Think SMART)
The AppStori must put your best foot forward. Because of the flexibility of the platform, you will have the ability to tell a compelling story (and people love to be compelled).
Oh, and sorry, we cannot accept porn, gambling, firearms (unless they're virtual, gamers) or other generally accepted "sin stocks"

Project Creation Steps

The process:

There are three steps to getting your project published on AppStori:

These steps allows you to make sure that your project is right for the AppStori community before you put all the effort required to create a full campaign. Here’s an explanation:

Pre-Qualify: This step allows you to get the project accepted onto the platform., without all the effort required to produce a video, design images, and create final content. Fill out the simple form, and the AppStori Review Board will determine whether the project is right for the AppStori platform.

Content Review: Once your project has been pre-qualified, you can go back and make your campaign complete. Upload a video, create a thumbnail, finalize your content, and invite members of your team. Don't worry, your idea has already been approved, this step ensures that you have the time to put your best foot forward. One thing to note is that once you submit for Content Review, you may no longer change your content for the duration of the project (you may, however, add and remove team members, and keep your users up to date via the blog).

Publish: Once the Review Board has approved your content, it's time to publish your project. This step ensures that your project goes live, when you want it to. Once your project is published, it's time to spread the word… but that comes next.
